Seminar Event on Corporate Banking - Vancouver, July 21st

On Tuesday, July 21st, the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Canada is organizing a seminar event on the occasion of the visit of 28 students from Bocconi University in Milan, the leading business faculty in Italy and one of the top ranked schools worldwide.

The 30 minutes seminar, will focus on the Corporate Banking market in Western Canada, illustrating some of the most relevant case studies and analyzing recent trends in the sector in light of the ongoing financial crisis.

The event will take place at the Dr Sun Yat Sen Classical Chinese Garden in Downtown Vancouver (578 Carrall Street) starting at 5,30pm. A cocktail reception will follow the seminar.

Flavours of Italy 2009 & Italian Wine Awards

GALA DINNER - Calgary Oct. 8th - SAVE THE DATE

The Italian Chamber of Commerce in Canada is organizing its 7^th annual “Flavours of Italy”, a celebration of Italian food and wine in Calgary and the Inaugural Italian Wine Awards Gala Dinner. The event will take place take place on October 8^th, 2009 at Hotel Arts.

“Flavours of Italy 2009” is organized in collaboration with 20 Western Canadian wine agents and features an exclusive wine tasting for media and hospitality professionals, an evening consumer tasting and for the first time ever, the Italian Awards Gala Dinner, a 4-course Italian feast with exclusive wine pairings as well as wine awards that will acknowledge the best Italian wines in 2 categories: Industry Choice and People’s Choice.

ANCIENT ROME 101: seven talks on the history and culture of Rome - Vancouver starting Sept. 15th

Dr. Shelley Reid (instructor of Latin and Greek at UBC) will give a talk on different periods of Roman history and different aspects of Roman culture and society.
The series is free for members of the Istituto in good standing.
