BC Italian Business Excellence Awards 

Please join us at the newly renovated Italian Cultural Centre for the BC Italian Business Excellence Awards 2008.

The evening begins with a reception at 6 pm, supported by Vino Allegro, and is followed by dinner and the awards presentation.

We are pleased to have Mike Killeen, CTV’s 2010 Olympic reporter, as our emcee for the evening.  The inaugural BC Italian Business Excellence Awards honour five areas of distinction: Business Excellence; Young Entrepreneur; Global Success; Innovation; and Italian Hospitality.

Award nominees and guests will have the pleasure of dining on a delicious menu including Porcini Mushroom Risotto, Chicken breast stuffed with Prosciutto, Spinach, and Three Cheeses and Rustic Tiramisu with Raspberry Coulis with wines presented by Select Wines.

Keynote speaker Mario Moretti Polegato, Chairman of GEOX SpA, will explain how the company that created the world’s first “breathable shoe” has become Italy’s number 1 and the world’s number 3 footwear brand reaching over €770.2 million (1 billion dollars CDN) in net sales.
