The Italian Chamber of Commerce in Canada (ICCC) is pleased to welcome a business delegation of Italian companies from the city of Bergamo, to Calgary from April 26th to April 29 and Edmonton from April 30th to May 1st. The mission is organized in collaboration with the Bergamo Chamber of Commerce.
Bergamo is a town in the region of Lombardy, Italy, about 40km northeast of Milan. Widely acclaimed as a city of rare beauty, Bergamo is famous for its wealth of artistic treasures and enchanting medieval atmosphere as well as its strong economy. Lombardy is one of the engines of the global economy, with a per capita GDP of $49,216, 42 percent higher than the rest of Italy, and one of the highest GDPs in Europe.
The Bergamo delegation will be comprised of six companies representing fashion, interior design, machinery, oil & gas, technology and bio energy industries. ICCC is in the process of organizing B2B meetings with local Alberta companies interested in possible collaboration with the Italian companies. Institutional representatives from the Bergamo Chamber of Commerce will also join the group and will meet with the Economic Development Offices in both cities. Here is the list of Bergamo companies:
