The Italian Chamber of Commerce in Canada – Vancouver Edmonton Calgary, in cooperation with the Italian Chambers of Commerce in Montreal, Toronto and Winnipeg, will partner with the Chamber of Commerce of Pisa to organize a Trade Mission to Italy, for the food and wine, Spa and tour operator sectors. We would like to extend an invitation for you to participate in this delegation to what is one of Italy’s most unique spa destinations as well as a renowned food and wine producing area. The date of the trip is June 13 to 18, 2007.

Our Chamber will recommend Member Companies, both from Alberta and British Columbia, from which the PISA Chamber of Commerce will further select four delegates, two from Alberta and two from BC, to participate in the mission and create partnerships with their respective counterparts in the Province of Pisa.

The tentative program for the mission is:

·         June 13 departure from city of origin (Vancouver, Edmonton or Calgary)

·         June 14 arrival in Pisa and tour of the city

·         June 15 separate workshops for the respective sectors

·         June 16 on-site visits to companies in Pisa or nearby Valdera

        Evening event:  Luminara at the Hotel Royal Victoria 

(Luminara is an event dating back to late 1600s where palaces along the Arno River are reflected in the glow of over 70,000 burning lumini )

·         June 17 continued on-site visits to companies in Pisa or nearby Valdera

·         June 18 departure from Pisa to Canada

Included in the program: 

·         Airfare from city of origin in Canada to Pisa and return for one person per company. Travel arrangements will be organized by Victours on behalf of the whole Canadian delegation,

·         Accommodation for five nights, meals included,

·         Transfer to and from Pisa airport to hotel plus local transfers to sites,

·         Luminara evening event at Hotel Royal Victoria.

Selection of delegates will be made on a first come, first served basis to those whose memberships are up to date.
