The Italian Chamber of Commerce in Canada – Vancouver Edmonton Calgary is pleased to invite you to participate in the upcoming edition of Vinitaly, the world’s largest wine show, taking place March 29^th to April 2^nd 2007 in the northern Italian city of Verona. 

For over forty years, Vinitaly’s role as the landmark event for the Italian and International wine worlds has developed exponentially and today is the only show focusing on all the needs of operators in the field. The 2006 edition welcomed over 4,200 exhibitors from 32 countries.  Spread over a net area of almost 80 thousand square metres, the exhibition was visited by 144,000 visitors; of these guests, more than 2,400 were accredited journalists from 52 countries, and over 33,000 were from 101 countries worldwide.   Please visit Vinitaly’s website at: http://www.vinitaly.com/index_en.asp  for more information.

The Italian Chamber of Commerce has negotiated with the organizers of Vinitaly to provide Canadian wine producers with significantly discounted prices to participate in the event.  All exhibition space prices include registration fee, stand, equipment set-up, and a listing in the official Vinitaly catalogue.  The prices are as follows:

• 12 square metres for 3.000€; (approximately $4,350)
• 24 square metres for 5.500€; (approximately $8,000)
• 36 square metres for 8.000€; (approximately $11,575)
•  48 square metres for 10.600€; (approximately $15,350)

Foreign exhibitors will be able to recover the sales tax (IVA) of 20% . Please scroll down to see attached booth specifications for more detailed information. 

Enolitech, the international exhibition of technologies for viticulture, oenology and of technologies for olive growing and oil production will be held at the same time as Vinitaly, giving Canadian producers the inside track regarding upcoming trends and technologies.

The Italian Chamber of Commerce will be able to assist in logistical matters through its network of preferred partners. We are also in contact with Canadian government agencies to verify if there are any programmes offering financial assistance to offset the cost of participation (travel and accomodation etc.) and will communicate our findings to you as soon as possible.
