PROJECT:

“Virtual R&D Forum, Canada-Italy”

...with sector mapping for bilateral collaboration between Universities and Research Centres in Canada and Italy.

Main Goals:
-Support R&D collaboration between Italian and Canadian Universities and Public and Private Research Institutes.
-Create map of R&D areas of interest, including sources of Government funding, with a detailed description of international activities and research.
-Facilitate knowledge exchange in medical, scientific and technological fields.
-Facilitate research exchange to diffuse skills and results
-Facilitate internships for university professionals
-Support technological innovation
-Facilitate relations between Canadian and Italian Industries and promote advanced research in both countries

International R&D partnerships are fundamental in order to support technological innovation and development. Canada, as one of the world’s leading countries in R&D, collaborates with other European nations but not as yet with Italy.  The primary goal of this project is to facilitate a more dynamic collaboration between Canada and Italy.
