OH CANADA! PROMOTION

MILAN,  OCTOBER 1st - OCTOBER 7th

The Italian Chamber of Commerce in Canada - Vancouver Edmonton Calgary (ICCC) invites industry associations, economic development agencies and municipalities in British Columbia to participate in "Oh Canada!", a project showcasing Canadian business, commerce, society, culture and entrepreneurial spirit.

The Canadian theme week will take place in Milan, Italy during the first week of October 2006 and will feature conferences, performances, exhibits and workshops in the following areas: 

-Advanced Technology 

-Investment and Financial Services 

-Architecture and Design 

-Fashion 

-Multimedia 

-Tourism 

-Indigenous Culture 

-Multiculturalism 

We would like to engage associations and economic development offices to represent these industry sectors in order to explore or further expand the tremendous business opportunities that exist for Canadian companies in the Lombardy region (please see attached document).With a positive response from your organization, additional funding for the promotion may also be available from Federal or Provincial Government agencies, from the Italian Chambers of Commerce in Canada and the Italian government. 

ICCC will further provide coordination and on-the-ground assistance, including solicitation of Italian partners at B2B meetings, booking appointments, organizing collateral business and institutional meetings and organizing trips to other venues throughout the region of Lombardy and northern Italy. (factory tours, exhibitions, discussion panels at various technology parks and research centres, institutional meetings with Italian counterparts, etc.)
