British Columbia Fashion Week is a unified, organized and centralized week of individual collections showcasing designers to domestic and international audiences. As an international event on the world fashion calendar and the premier fashion event in Western Canada, the objective of BC Fashion Week is to provide a platform for Canadian designers to become players in the global fashion business by providing state-of-the-art venues, an experienced production team and maximum exposure through a wide variety of marketing benefits and opportunities.
In addition to a week of fashion shows, there are many other events to take in, including the “not fit for print” fashion photographers exhibit (www.notfitforprint.com) or the Snowboarding art exhibit and fashion show as part of Project SNO (www.ecstaticdesigns.com) or any one of the after parties being held at hot spots in downtown Vancouver.
A seminar series showcasing trends for 2007 and various leading edge topics for fashion professionals. Scheduled for Tuesday, April 4th starting at 9:00, at the Morris J Wosk Centre for Dialogue on Learning, SFU Harbourfront.
