march 15 2012- fairmont waterfront hotel, vancouver

On the occasion of GLOBE 2012 the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Canada – West will organize an EU – Canada Business Forum on the Environment.

This forum is the launch event for an eighteen-month long project partially funded by the European Commission: ‘The Enhanced EU – Canada Economic Partnership: Challenges & Opportunities for SMEs’. The forum is one of four scheduled to take place at major tradeshows across Canada with the goal of bringing together Canadian and European SMEs in specific sectors (environment, energy, agriculture and aerospace) to discuss the state of the industry and developments arising from the Comprehensive and Economic Trade Agreement (CETA) currently under negotiation by Canada and the European Union.

This business forum will be of interest to business leaders and corporate executives in the environmental sector as well as NGOs and government policymakers.

This event will take place on Thursday, March 15th at The Fairmont Waterfront Hotel, the first of more than twenty-six project events planned over the next eighteen months across Canada and the European Union.
